Ornelas was an Academic All-State pick in 2008, a First Team
All-District 25-5A pick (2007-2008), the Anderson HS MVP in 2006
and 2008, was the District 25-5A Defensive Player of the Year in
her senior season (2008) and was selected as the Anderson HS Female
Athlete of the Year in 2008 for the Trojans in Austin, TX.
Laura also played for the Lonestar Soccer Club.
Personal
Laura is the daughter of Benito and Maria Ornelas...has one
brother - Gabriel...is majoring in psychology at SU.
